Use the Zoom and Pan tools to magnify or shrink your photo in the Work area, or to move it up and down, or right and left. Photos can be zoomed dynamically using the mouse, or specifically according to a zoom factor.

To find the tools:

  1. Click the Projects button on the Navigation panel.

  2. Find the Zoom tool on the Toolbar. Click the tool, and two tools are displayed in a flyout, Zoom and Pan. The other four View tools are found below the Work area in the Settings area.

The Zoom tool allows you to zoom in or out of the Work area. Clicking this tool will change the cursor to a magnifying glass when it is brought over the Work area.

To zoom in, click and hold the mouse while moving the cursor towards the top of the screen.

To zoom out, click and hold the mouse while moving the cursor towards the bottom of the screen.

The Pan tool allows the viewpoint to be moved across the zoomed image. To Pan, click and hold this tool to move across the image. Note: this tool does not function if the entire image is visible in the Work area.
